KABOOM!

The Bensenville Park District is building a new playground at Arbor Park, 475 E. Potter Street in Wood Dale! The new playground is made possible through a partnership between the park district, Discover® and KABOOM!

The playground will be constructed in one day, Thursday, September 14, with two prep days September 12-13.

KABOOM! is a national non-profit organization committed to ending playspace inequity – the reality that communities of color disproportionally lack access to – and a sense of belonging in – quality playspaces. For more than two decades, KABOOM! has collaborated with partners to build or improve over 17,000 playspaces across the United States. By creating safe and engaging playspaces, KABOOM! aims to inspire communities and promote the importance of play for children’s healthy development.
