Event is free and open to the public; some attractions available for a fee
Bensenville, Ill. (September 13, 2024)— The Bensenville Park District invites the community to its annual Harvest Fest from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, at Fischer Farm, located at 16W680 Old Grand Avenue in Bensenville. This family-friendly event will feature a day full of food, fun, live music and activities for all ages. Admission and parking are free, but some attractions will require tickets for participation.
Activities include wagon Rides, bounce houses, straw pyramid, a pumpkin patch, pony rides, a mechanical bull, Subie’s World, face painting, duck races, a lasso station, carnival games, a cider press demonstration and various crafts.
Artisan Alley, featuring local vendors, offers a variety of homemade arts and crafts, pottery, furniture, jewelry, clothing, health and wellness products, vintage goods, and more. This is a perfect opportunity to support local artisans and discover unique treasures.
The main stage entertainment lineup is as follows:
- Ballet Folklorico de Chicago – Noon-12:45 p.m.
- Miss Jamie’s Farm – 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- The Hogmires – 3-5 p.m.
