Bensenville, Ill. (July 26, 2024)— The Bensenville Park District announced its vibrant Young at Heart program schedule for active adults, featuring an exciting lineup of events for the fall season. Participants can look forward to nine engaging day trips, two overnight excursions, four delightful lunch outings, a festive dinner-dance, a corn roast, a holiday cookie bake-off and several enriching classes, including the free STOP THE BLEED® program.

- Fitzgerald’s Fish Boil and Shopping: Experience the spectacular flames of a fish boil at Fitzgerald’s Genoa Junction followed by shopping in the scenic Lake Geneva area.
- Chicago White Sox: Enjoy a patio picnic with buffet-style food and drink before the game.
- Four Winds Casino: Includes $15 in slot play and a $10 food credit.
- Live and Let Die – Paul McCartney Tribute: Tony Kishman’s acclaimed tribute performance at the Des Plaines Theatre.

Additionally, the Young at Heart Lunch Bunch & Bingo program announced changes from the printed program. The events will take place noon to 3 p.m. the third Thursday each month.
