Latino Heritage Month Kermes

The Kermes event–presented by Fenton High School and the Bensenville Park District–is a fundraiser for Fenton High School students and will feature activities for the entire family, including the following:

  • 9 a.m. – Food service begins
  • 10 a.m. – 5K Walk/Run
  • 10:30 a.m. – Soccer Tournament
  • Noon – Mariachi Band and Ballet Folklorico
  • 3 p.m. – Revolución de Amor

Contact Coach Ruiz (ruiz@fenton100.org ) to sign up for the 3V3 Soccer Tournament.

The Kermes will feature other family-friendly crafts throughout the day, plus a lot of incredible Latino food! The food menu is scheduled to include the following items:

  • Tacos: carne asada, barbacoa de res, al pastor
  • Gorditas, Tamales, Sopes, Tortas, Enchiladas
  • Cochinita, Guisado, Tacos de Canasta, Fried Tilapia
  • Enchiladas, Elotes, Chocomilk

Food and beverage sales are cash only. Event proceeds benefit Fenton High School students.
