New commissioner would serve from date of appointment until May 17, 2023
Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District seeking applicants for a vacant seat on its board of commissioners. Prospective applicants must pick up the district’s Commissioner Vacancy Information Packet between October 14 and November 4 and return a completed Commissioner Candidate Questionnaire form and introductory letter of interest by 5 p.m. Friday, November 4.
The packet is available for in-person pickup by the prospective applicant at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville. Pickup hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Prospective applicants will need to sign for the packet and will receive a receipt when the packet is returned.
Applications will be reviewed and candidate interviews will take place 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 16. All potential candidates selected must be available for a 30-minute interview. The district reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or choose to not select any candidate for the vacancy.
The district is targeting 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, as the date for a special meeting to appoint a new board member.
